2015 Velocity Training Results and Discussion
Each player in the program completes a pre and a post velocity test using a crop hop style max velocity throw. In 2015, 15 players participated in the first session of the program. Some began with initial fastball velocities of has high as 94 mph, others began in the low 70's. After 10 weeks, the average gain seen was 3.28 mph in only 10 weeks of training.
