Grady's Pitching School ("we," "us," or "our") operates www.gradyspitchingschool.com and provides baseball pitching instruction and athletic development programs in Canal Fulton and North Canton, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you fill out a form on our website, submit an interest form for a program such as VIP, register for lessons, or contact us, we collect the information in that form. Depending on the form, this may include:
- Name and, for athlete registrations, the athlete's name
- Email address and phone number
- The athlete's high school graduation year, school, and position
- Any message or notes you choose to send us
Information from Facebook and Instagram lead forms. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you submit one of our lead forms directly inside those apps, Meta sends us the information you entered on that form, typically your name, email address, phone number, and the athlete's graduation year. We receive this because you chose to submit the form to us. Meta's own handling of your data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, not this one.
Payment information. If you purchase a program, lesson package, or product, payment is processed by Square, our third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of the transaction and order details. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site or ad that referred you. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies and Advertising Technology
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including:
- Squarespace, our website host, which sets cookies necessary to operate the site, remember your cart, and provide basic analytics.
- Meta Pixel, a Facebook and Instagram advertising tool that records page views and actions such as submitting an interest form, so we can measure whether our ads are working and show ads to people who have visited our site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how parts of the site function. You can also limit how Meta uses your activity for advertising through your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about programs you expressed interest in
- Enroll athletes, schedule sessions, and administer our programs
- Process payments and keep records of transactions
- Send program updates, availability notices, and occasional marketing emails, when you have opted in
- Measure and improve our advertising, including understanding which ads bring families to us
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Your Information
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers who operate our website, host our forms, process payments, deliver our email, and provide advertising measurement. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
- Meta Platforms, when you submit a lead form in Facebook or Instagram, or when the Meta Pixel records activity on our site.
- Legal requirements, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our athletes, families, staff, or business.
- Business transfer, if our business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
Athletes Under 18
We work primarily with youth and high school athletes, and we take that seriously.
Our website, forms, and advertising are directed to parents, guardians, and adult athletes, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. When information about a minor athlete is provided to us, we expect it to be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us personal information directly, contact us at mike@gradyspitchingschool.com and we will delete it.
Parents and guardians may review, correct, or request deletion of information we hold about their minor athlete at any time by contacting us.
Email and Text Communications
If you opt in to receive emails from us, every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time. If you receive text messages from us about scheduling or program updates, you can reply STOP to opt out.
Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about a program your athlete is actively enrolled in.
Data Retention
We keep inquiry and lead information for as long as it is useful for following up about our programs, and we keep enrollment and transaction records for as long as needed for business, accounting, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your Choices and Rights
You may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you or your athlete
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information
- Opt out of marketing emails and texts
- Opt out of personalized advertising through your Facebook and Instagram settings
To make any of these requests, email mike@gradyspitchingschool.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor those rights where they apply.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including relying on established platforms such as Squarespace and Square for storage and transmission. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on this page.
